CHIROPRACTIC
Realign your spine, rebalance your life!
Chiropractic manual therapy aims to re-harmonize and optimize organic vital functions that are altered in numerous musculoskeletal and visceral pathologies, etc., through direct and reflex action on the nervous system using vertebral adjustments. Main areas of Chiropractic intervention:
Musculoskeletal and joint disorders
>Back pain (low back pain, mid-back pain)
>Neck pain and stiffness
>Sciatica and leg pain
>Joint pain (shoulders, hips, knees, wrists)
>Muscle tension and contractures
Objective: to reduce pain, improve mobility and posture.
Headaches and cranio-cervical disorders
>Cervicogenic headaches
>Migraines related to muscle tension or poor posture
>Dizziness and instability
Objective: to relax the muscles and improve the functionality of the cervical spine.
Posture and prevention
>Correction of vertebral misalignments
>Improvement of body balance and symmetry
>Prevention of chronic pain or recurrences
Objective: to maintain a balanced spine and prevent future imbalances.
Sports performance
>Treatment and prevention of sports injuries
>Improvement of coordination and strength
>Faster recovery after physical activity
Objective: to optimize biomechanics and athletic performance.
Functional disorders related to the nervous system
>Tingling, numbness, radiating pain
>Dysfunctions related to nerve compression or irritation
>Support for general well-being through improved neuromuscular communication
Objective: to promote correct nerve transmission and functional rebalancing.
Support across different ages
>Infants and children: postural issues, colic, mild cranial asymmetries
>Adolescents: scoliosis, growth pains, or school-related postural pain
>Adults: chronic pain and work-related stress
>Seniors: joint stiffness, reduced mobility, balance
Objective: to adapt the intervention to the life stage to maintain optimal functionality.
OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy does not just treat pain: it harmonizes the body.
Osteopathy is a healthcare discipline based on a holistic approach to a person’s health.
It is founded on the principle that the body is a functional unit: structure (bones, muscles, joints) and function (movement, circulation, respiration, nervous balance) are closely interconnected and capable of influencing one another.
The osteopath uses specific manual maneuvers to evaluate and treat dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal, visceral, and cranio-sacral systems, with the goal of restoring the body’s global balance and stimulating its natural self-healing capacity.
Osteopathy is indicated in numerous areas, both preventive and therapeutic, including:
Musculoskeletal scope
>Neck, mid-back, and low back pain
>Sciatica, lumbago, cervicalgia
>Tendonitis, joint and muscle pain
>Results of trauma or sprains
Visceral scope
>Digestive disorders (reflux, bloating, constipation, colitis)
>Functional abdominal tension or pain
>Issues related to breathing or the diaphragm
Cranio-sacral scope
>Headaches and migraines
>Sleep or concentration disorders
>Jaw tension (bruxism, TMJ)
Pediatric scope
>Colic, reflux, plagiocephaly, sleep disorders in infants
>Support for the child’s motor and postural development
Sports scope
>Post-injury recovery
>Improvement of performance and joint mobility
>Prevention of muscle overloads and imbalances
KINESIOLOGY AND POSTUROLOGY
Understand how you move to discover how you are.
The Kinesiologist analyzes the physiological, biomechanical, and psychological mechanisms that regulate human movement. The goal is to study movement not only from a physical standpoint but also considering its intellectual-cognitive, affective-emotional, and socio-relational components. They intervene in functional recovery post-injury during the post-acute phase under Medical and Physiotherapeutic competence.
Their training and professionalism find application in the daily lives of ordinary people, school-aged children where teaching is provided from elementary through high school, as well as in the elderly, and in the sports field to improve athletic performance.
They work with athletes and sportspeople to refine their skills and improve sport-specific results. They are responsible for motor activity plans in private and public gyms as well as sports facilities such as swimming pools, etc., compared to a CONI federal technician who is not a graduate and must follow the instructions of the Doctor of Motor Sciences or Kinesiologist.
When the Kinesiologist is also a specialist with 5 years of academic training, they are an expert in preventive and adapted motor activity and propose specific motor activities for people with disabilities or particular motor needs, always in non-acute clinical situations that remain within Medical and Physiotherapeutic competence.
Areas of application
>Kinesiology is applied in various contexts:
>Sports and competitive activity
>Postural and corrective gymnastics
>Physical exercise for the elderly
>Motor activities for the disabled
>Athletic preparation programs
>Respiratory gymnastics
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy is a branch of the healthcare professions specialized in the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients suffering from musculoskeletal, neurological, rheumatic, and visceral pathologies. Through therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and physical tools (such as Shockwave, DualPower, Yag Laser, Tecar therapy, Cryo Sound, etc.), the physiotherapist helps recover mobility, strength, and functionality, improving the person’s quality of life.
Physiotherapy treatments include:
>Instrumental physical therapies
>Manual therapies
>Massage therapy
>Kinesitherapy
>Postural therapy
>Therapeutic exercises
Areas of application of Physiotherapy
>Orthopedic and traumatological: fractures, sprains, prostheses, post-operative care.
>Musculoskeletal: back pain, neck pain, tendonitis, joint pain.
>Neurological: stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, peripheral paralysis.
>Cardio-respiratory: rehabilitation after surgery or respiratory pathologies.
>Sports: prevention and recovery from injuries, performance improvement.
>Pediatric and geriatric: motor development, balance, mobility, and independence.
THE INTEGRATED MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH
When specializations unite, care becomes complete.
